A Major Milestone: STEMAIDE Supports Over 500 Students in Ghana's National STEM WAEC Examination.
Every startup dreams of building something that matters.
At STEMAIDE, we have always believed that African challenges deserve African solutions. Today, we are proud to celebrate a major milestone that reinforces that belief.
This year, over 500 students from 7 STEM Schools across 5 regions of Ghana sat for the WASSCE Engineering Practical Examination, one of the most hands-on and future-focused assessments introduced under Ghana's STEM education agenda.
Students were challenged to design, build, and program a smart automation system capable of reducing energy waste in schools using microcontrollers, sensors, coding, and engineering principles. It was a real-world challenge designed to test not just knowledge, but creativity, innovation, and problem-solving.
For STEMAIDE, the significance of this moment goes beyond the examination itself.
We are honored that the Science Education and STEM Units of the Ghana Education Service(GES) recommend the STEMAIDE Kit to support candidates preparing for this national examination.
For a Ghanaian-built STEM education solution, this is a powerful endorsement. It reflects growing confidence in practical, hands-on learning and demonstrates how locally developed innovations can contribute meaningfully to national education outcomes.
What started as a vision to make STEM education accessible, practical, and relevant for African learners has now become part of the learning journey for hundreds of students preparing for one of the most important examinations of their academic lives.
We are deeply grateful to the Science Education and STEM Units, school leaders, teachers, parents, and students who trusted STEMAIDE. Your support and belief in our mission continue to inspire us.
At STEMAIDE, we are driven by a simple but important question:
How do we prepare students today for jobs that do not yet exist, for careers we cannot yet define, and for a future we cannot fully predict?
The answer lies in practical learning. It lies in giving young people opportunities to build, experiment, create, and solve real problems.
The STEMAIDE Kit was designed for exactly that purpose. Through electronics, coding, robotics, engineering design, artificial intelligence, and innovation projects, we are helping young people develop the skills that will define the future.
This milestone is not just a win for STEMAIDE. It is a win for practical STEM education in Ghana. It is a win for local innovation. And it is a reminder that when we invest in young people, we invest in the future of our nation.
To all the candidates who sat for this year's examination, we wish you success and excellence in your results. We are proud to have been part of your journey and look forward to seeing the solutions you create in the years ahead.
The future belongs to innovators, and together, we are building them.
